CyberPower intros new LAN Party EVO mini gaming PCs

Custom gaming PC builder CyberPower on Friday announced the release of small form factor desktop gaming systems. Collectively called LAN Party EVO, the series is made up of four systems. Each uses small form factor mITX and mATX mainboards that support modern AMD and Intel processors.

BlackBerry phones aren't even registering for game developers, an examination of the app community uncovered on Friday [sub. required]. Plants vs. Zombies developer PopCap said the BlackBerry simply wasn't being supported in its current form as it wasn't suitable compared to Android and iOS.

The French city of Toulouse is testing a system that displays available parking spots on drivers’ smartphones. The system can also tell when someone is illegally parked or hasn’t fed the parking meter. “This technology comes from space travel,” says Patrick Givanovitch.

The iPad will be the primary factor in both high tablet sales this year and three times as many sales next year, Gartner said in a new estimate today. Continuing very strong sales of Apple's tablet would push overall tablet sales to 19.5 million for all of 2010 and 54.8 million in 2011.

There’s pretty much only one thing I don’t like about my iPad. While the speaker is strong and clear when it comes to iTunes and most other movie and music apps, when you watch films and TV shows in the Apple-supplied “Videos” app, the sound sucks.
