Apple has officially launched the iPad in Russia today (or yesterday, if you happen to be in Russia at the moment). All six models are available from three retail chains including M.Video, Bely Veter and re:Store. There's quite a few strings attached to this launch, however.

Adobe today inadvertently confirmed Google's imminent Gingerbread launch by posting updates to both AIR 2.5 and Flash 10.1 for Android. The update release notes explicitly mention updates for compatibility with Android 2.3, which was finished last month but still isn't official.

According to a memo acquired by The Boy Genius Report (BGR), Apple has altered its policy on treating iPods with water damage. Under the new guidelines, service personnel will be required to do two things. First, confirm that the device's internal Liquid Contact Indicators (LCIs) had been activated.

Here's an interesting way to use 9 iPads. Photographer Jesse Rosten mounted the set on several pieces of plywood, maxed out the brightness on each and had assistants move then around while he shot his model. In fact, the iPad arrays were the only light sources for this particular shoot.

It seems as if Lenovo is preparing to unveil a new ultraportable notebook, it is dubbed the Lenovo IdeaPad U260 and according to ThinkPads, it measures 0.71-inch thick, it weighs in at 3.04 pounds and gets a 12.5-inch LCD display.
