A Boeing 787 Dreamliner crew was forced to make an emergency landing this week, after the smoke from an electrical fire filled the cabin. The test flight out of Yuma, Arizona was scheduled to land in Harlingen, Texas, opting instead to touch down Laredo, Texas.

Gartner‘s smartphone OS market share stats are out for Q3 2010, and it makes for positive reading if you’re Google. According to the figures, Android market share grew from 3.5-percent in Q3 2009 to 25.5-percent in 2010, making it the second-largest platform worldwide.
