The Kinect may be divisive as a gaming peripheral, but I think we can all agree that a $150 off-the-shelf depth-aware camera system is a good thing. And just in the week since the device launched, people have already come up with some crazy applications for it. This video is absolutely nuts.

Sinn has been getting real divers and desk divers alike drooling from the mouth since the 1990s with their seriously pro EZM line of watch. "EZM" stands for Einsatzzeitmesser, which roughly translates into "mission timer." Really happy they chose to shorten that word to just "EZM."

A Chinese dispute with Apple's iPhone patents may negate some of the company's legalaction against Meizu, the Beijing Times said Saturday. Local firm Herron Network Information has sued Apple arguing that a patent for the iPhone's design was invalid as it wasn't attached to the product name.

iPad users may have to wait a little longer than they'd like for features like multitasking and folder support, but at least one new feature is available right now: the iPad now supports Ping, Apple's stab at a social media component to the iTunes Store.
