Native editing for Google Docs will be available on the iOS device closest to you within the next few days -- if not already. Google issued a press release this morning, complete with a demo set to some snazzy music demonstrating the new editor in action.

For Google, their Docs endeavor was meant to make creating documents of all sorts, from text to spreadsheets, easier, and more accessible. No longer did you need to pay extra money for extra software. Just load up the web application, and you’re able to create a document right there and then.
