Couple months ago they were filming an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm down the block from me, outdoors at night. That's a sitcom, not a Michael Bay movie, so I was shocked at the amount of heavy-duty outdoor lighting--and absurd amount of equipment trucks--they had to set up to shoot their scene.

The Hatfield and the McCoys. Coke and Pepsi. Maggie Simpson and that baby with one eyebrow. Some rivalries are just timeless. It seems that, no matter what happens, they'll never be resolved. I'd have put Facebook and MySpace on that list, as well--until today, that is.

The new Apple TV is pretty limited as it stands, I have one under my TV and have probably used it three or four times since I bought it, if Apple doesn’t decide to release Apps for it in the near future, then the jailbreakers will.

Samsung Canada, via its Facebook page, has announced that the Samsung Vibrant from Bell and the Samsung Captivate from Rogers will get a firmware update to Android 2.2 in mid-December. The Fascinate from Telus will receive the same upgrade early on in 2011, Samsung adds.
