Panasonic has announced [JP] that on April 20 it will roll out  the world’s thinnest plasma TVs in Japan. The company said it plans to release them at about the same time around the world (which remains to be seen). The TVs are measuring just 24.7mm in the thickest section.

Jajah has announced an app that would allow iPod Touch users to make and receive phone calls over VoIP. Users would only need access to a WiFi connection to use the application. This could transform into something useful for users of the Touch, as long as they stay close to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The new DDR3 RAM from Mushkin comes cloaked in an aluminum jackets painted with the radiation symbol. That symbol doesn’t make the memory look scary, it makes the makers look weird. The specs, though are good enough.
