Sony Ericsson's Z1 is currently disappointing in its game benchmarks based on a scoop that has caught it in early testing today. The 1GHz PlayStation phone reaches 24.4 frames per second in Qualcomm's Neocore 3D benchmark, or just half the 55.6 frames per second from a Nexus S.

A new, previously unheard of handset from Pantech has just been spotted on the FCC website. Some technical details on the device were revealed by the listing, including GSM, EDGE and HSPA 3G on the 850MHz and 1,900MHz frequency bands, that would place it on AT&T's network.
