Samsung were showing off their new OmniaHD at MWC2009. Engadget ES managed to get their hands on it to show the world what it’s all about. Just looking at the pictures show it’s a very sleek looking phone. The Samsung OmniaHD is a high-def phone (hence the HD in the name).

Good news for Casio watch fans, because Casio Japan has unveiled not one but six new Edifice watches. These timepieces are waterproof, and feature full automatic calendar, alarm and battery charge warning function. There is no further info about these watches. Stay tuned for more updates.

Along with W995, Sony Ericsson also announced “Idou” Touchphone at MWC 2009 in Barcelona. The Idou boasts 12.1 MP camera/Xenon flash combo and a 3.5″ 16:9 touchscreen which is capable of “full media consumption”.
