I'm taking some time to wander the floor at Mobile World Congress, the world's largest cell phone trade show, and I'd like to share what I see with you on our photo blog. Right now we've got about 30 shots, and more are to come (I can hear our production team groaning from 3,000 miles away.)

I’m not a fan of these ‘bridge’ cameras, but there’s a reason why camera companies keep updating or putting out new ones. They’re ‘widlly popular’ as Fuji says of its FinePix S1000. The S1500 is a 10-megapixel shooter with a 12x optical zoom, dual image stabilization and SR Auto (auto scene recog).

Nokia has joined the pack as most mobile manufacturers by announcing that they will be launching their OVi Store just before the Mobile World Congress. The Ovi is a sort of AppStore, applied to some range smartphones, the first one being the N97.
