There’s a new PSP firmware update lurking around and it remains to be seen if it will be pushed out to everyone. At the moment, it’s only available via a Japan-only title, Idolmaster SP. Firmware 5.05 is installed onto the UMD.

These tools from Dust-Aid look pretty handy. Lots of people are moving to DSLRs and may not know that they have to be taken care of in this respect. These would be great stocking stuffers (belated) or just general gifts for anyone who’s recently taken the DSLR road.

Appleinsider has today reported a photo leak showing the rear of supposedly the new Mac Mini with revamped ports. Among the clues we can glean, assuming this image is legit, is that it supports early claim of DVI port to be replaced with Mini DisplayPort and Mini DVI to support newer Cinema Display.

We’re not going to make a habit of announcing every game that comes out, but we saw this back at E3 and Peter was really impressed. I think I was too busy playing Red Faction II, but I’ve been checking the reviews for this RPG-infused RTS, and it looks pretty awesome.

We may see Lenovo netbooks packing NVIDIA and VIA chips pretty soon here. Digitimes is reporting that “Lenovo plans to launch 11.6-inch and 12.1-inch netbooks combining Intel’s Atom processor and Nvidia’s Ion platform in the second quarter of this year.”

More information concerning Psion, the company that trademarked the word “netbook” back in 2000. You’ll recall that the company sent out cease and desist letters to certain sites that used the term “netbook” and even got Google to remove “netbook” campaigns from its Ad Words advertising program.
