Two New Sony Cybershot Digicams in Japan

Sony has officially announced the availability of its new Sony Cybershot digital cameras in Japan. The Cybershot DSC-T90 and DSC-T900 are two 12.1MP cameras that offer the latest Super HAD CCD, BIONZ image processor and record video in 720p30 at both 6 and 9Mbps.

Green-House Japan comes back with an average 52 in 1 card reader. The Green-House GH-CRHD52 can reach a maximum UDMA speed of 32MB/s in read mode and 28MB/s in write mode. No word on pricing or availability so far. We will keep you posted.

Commented that built a new Lenovo ultraportable 12-inch with the new Intel Atom N280, it would be a novelty since it says that Intel stop selling its N270. But now there is more news, Lenovo might plan to launch two new ultra of 11.6 and 12.1 inches.

Sprint confirms that an Android handset is coming

In an interview with BI, Sprint’s CEO Dan Hesse confirmed that the number three carrier in the US was in talks with Google about an Android phone. Hesse wouldn’t divulge any other details like a launch date or handset manufacturer, but stated that it would not be tied into Clearwire.

OLED-Info spotted an Amazon page (already taken down!) for a new Samsung camera. It's evidently a 5x optical zoom model with 12 megapixels, but look closely ... analog dials, oh my! Whatever else it does, it'll do it for $330. Samsung to launch a new 12MP camera, the TL320, with a 3" AMOLED?

Is it still called “PC gaming” when it’s done on a Mac? I’d ask Ubisoft, which just announced that Prince of Persia and that Shaun White snowboarding game will be available on the Mac in March, but it seems my Internet connection is being censored by The Man right now.

Perhaps we shouldn’t read too far into this, but here’s what happened. The technical specifications on Sprint.com for the Palm Pre used to list “Phone as modem” with Bluetooth and USB tethering as a feature. Now, however, that feature is gone.

Sprint may have lost $1.6 billion in the fourth quarter, but things are looking up, if only briefly. CNBC is reporting that Sprint has the exclusive rights to the Pre in the US for all of 2009. No comment on exclusivity after 2009, though.
