I Started Something has some cool video of what Microsoft foresees as the future of MS Office. Dubbed Office 2019, the video is a mish-mash of Surface-esque drawings and lots of cute little applications talking to each other by throwing data from circle to circle.

Best Buy has a 22-inch Acer monitor in the outlet section for $49.99 plus $15 for shipping. I don’t know if it’s a mistake or if that’s the actual price but I just ordered one.

Reader Rico (no relation) recently told me about smcFanControl, an Intel Mac OS X utility that provides the user with direct control over a Macbook Pro’s set of cooling fans. By setting the minimum fan speed of the laptop, smcFanControl basically sets how fast the cooling fans run.

NAS systems seem to never be ideally perfect, reliable, widely compatible or easy to use. Even though there are pretty big names in the business like LaCie, Addonics, Western Digital, etc. we still were able to find a thing or two to mend in their products.
