At their CeBIT 2009 press conference this morning, ASUS officially announced the Eee PC 1008HA - the netbook formerly known as the “Shell”.  Just 1-inch thick and 1.1kg in weight, the 1008HA will have optional WiMAX and 3.5G WWAN connectivity.

ASUS have revealed US launch dates and pricing for their Eee Top all-in-one touchscreen nettop.  The 15.6-inch device - which we reviewed back in December - will launch in the US on March 9th 2009, but it’s already available to preorder through Amazon.

MSI have come clean on the full-specs of their new gaming flagship notebook, the 17-inch GT725.  The MSI GT725 has a 2.53GHz Intel Penryn P9500 processor paired with up to 4GB of RAM, and is apparently the first ever gaming notebook to use the ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GPU.

JVC have announced several new models in their Everio camcorder range at PMA 2009 this week, including hard-disc and memory card models and compact HD-capable recorders.  At the top of the list is the JVC Everio GZ-MG680, with a 120GB HDD and full 1080p HD recording.
