We just downloaded and installed the Kindle for iPhone app and you can color me impressed. Not only do you get - almost - the same reading experience you get on the Kindle this essentially opens to ebook market up in ways that could change the whole “reading a book” industry.

Garmin, the GPS master rolling out two new GPS navigation device called Garmin nüvi 1200 and nuvi 1300. Come in a super-slim design, Nuvi 1200 sport a 3.5-inch display while nuvi 1300 has a 4.5-inch screen.

As knock-offs go, this Sony VAIO P copycat - called the VAINO - is pretty blatant.  Unfortunately there are no images of it next to the real thing, otherwise it’d become clear that the VAINO’s 250 x 185 x 31mm dimensions are more your typical netbook scale than the long & thin VAIO...

First they prototyped a mini fuel cell, now it seems Sony hasn’t given up yet on their idea of a bio battery, which was introduced back in 2007. The company is still working on the battery, which can be recharged not by using methanol as fuel but glucose.

Here is the Sony HX1 Cyber-Shot Digital camera that comes with a 9.1 megapixel Exmor CMOS image sensor and has basically all the specs you would wish for in a digital camera. There is a pro-quality 28mm wide-angle lens and a 20x optical zoom. The camera also has the burst speed feature.
