Alpha Networks showed off its broadband CPE solutions at CeBIT 2009. Some of their new products are GPON ONT, VDSL2 802.11n wireless IAD, and ADSL2+ 802.11n wireless IAD. The VDSL2 integrated access device supports voice, data, and video information transmissions over one broadband connection.

The Mood Wall, installed in an Amsterdam underpass, is 24 meters long and has 2,500 LEDs. The Moodwall is located in a pedestrian tunnel and interacts with people passing by, improving the atmosphere in the tunnel and making people feel happier and safer.

A stylish condom dispenser for the bedside? Sure, I can get with that. One emblazened with guns, crosses, bedazzled hearts, spiders, or most inexplicably a skull and crossbones? I think CBox needs to go back to the drawing board and erase the bullet point that reads "Tacky, but creepy".

MSI's Winki is an instant-on Linux operating system on a special thumbdrive that plugs directly into select MSI motherboards. It'll be similar to Splashtop and Hyperspace, though Engadget reports it'll be more elaborate than those more tightly-designed examples.
