I often see drivers parked on a nearby street at night, plundering the local free wi-fi via a laptop perched awkwardly on the passenger seat. It's for people like these that the awkwardly-named "Portable Car Auto Seat Mount Tray Laptop Table Cup Holder" was designed.

SDXC got a 2009 CES unveiling and we are finally seeing the first batch thanks to Pretec. The companies first offering will come sporting 32GB capacity and a mighty respectable transfer speed of 50MB/s.

We’ve already shown you one dirty way of re-enabling Hulu on Boxee but now there is an official work around direct from Boxee via RSS. The latest build adds support for video RSS fees and so…all you need to do is add Hulu’s public RSS feed to the app’s reader.

My tax refund came! Good thing I didn’t have to wait for a call back from the IRS to solve it, since I’m pretty sure I’d have been waiting until the end of the world. Of course, I’m working all weekend and can’t go shopping, but next week the upgrade project is on!

It’s almost over, folks. The saga of Circuit City is about done as the company plans to shut all stores by March 8th. Some stores, including my old location of 3631, closed weeks ago. It all depended on the individual store’s inventory.

Yesterday we saw an ice cream shaped like an iPod, today we have a chocolate bar, shaped like a keyboard, the White Chocolate Keyboard. There aren’t too many details about this gadget themed chocolate bar, so if anyone knows where I can buy one from, please leave a comment.

Oh dear. Palm investor Roger McNamee appears to have had a little too much Red Bull before his interview in San Francisco yesterday. McNamee is a co-founder of Elevation Partners, which put an extra $100 million into Palm last December.

Here is another cool design concept, this one is by designers Iskender Asanaliev & Adilet Asanaliev, the ON Air Watch. The ON Air Watch is a blend of analogue and digital watches, the time in hours is displayed by the a watch hand, which moves around the watch just like and analogue watch.
