Panasonic’s super slim 54Z1 plasma TV has been unveiled. What makes this thin plasma TV special is that its wireless HD receiver box that comes along with it. The plasma also comes with a remote which is an RF unit that is capable of non-line-of-sight channel changing.

As is expected to happen with any new Apple product, iFixit has torn the poor bugger to pieces and documented the whole process. With the Shuffle 2k9, it’s nearly as complicated as taking apart a MacBook or anything like that, so it’s a relatively short process.

It seems that Brother wants to play in e-Book reader market by releasing the SV-100B. Dubbed as a “Document Viewer”, the gadget comes equipped with a 9.7 inch display at 1,200 x 825 resolution (150dpi), can display up to 5000 pages, 83 hours of battery life, and a microSD slot.

We all like G.I. Joe here, although we’re split on whether the movie will be terrible or barely passable. Same thing goes, apparently, for the game. Not that we’re surprised, but it looks like the movie tie-in will be as soulless as any other.

We may see a “remote wand” in the box of the next Apple TV, according to a 64-page patent filing published this week. The wand would control the movement of a cursor on a TV screen much like the Wiimote allows in, say, your home screen. It would also allow for 3D controls.
