What is believed to be the upcoming Samsung Vibrant 4G that’s been all over the news lately has now been spotted undergoing FCC testing. As posted earlier in the T-Mobile Vibrant 4G story, the device has a very similar model name, SGH-T959V in the FCC documents compared to SGH-T959 previously.

Samsung brought out three more cameras in its post-CES wake on Wednesday that fill in the mid-range of its point-and-shoot series. The ST65, ST90 and ST95 all carry 5X wide-angle lenses and 720p movie-making as their core features.

Microsoft has launched OneNote for the iPhone. The new app was approved and added to the App Store yesterday and for a limited amount of time, it will be free for users to download.Microsoft hasn't said how long the app will be free for, so it's best you grab it while you can.

I am all for hacking the Kinect to be used for things that it was never intended to be used for. Things like controlling my PC games or controlling a robot are one thing. Using the Kinect to control robotic surgery tools by doctors is something else entirely and makes me more than a little nervous.

An opposing rumor overnight has cast doubts on the next iPad having a 2048x1536 display. Pointing to his sources, John Gruber was told that it might still use the 1024x768 resolution. There were 2048x1536 prototypes at Apple's campus, but these wouldn't be the new model, he said....
