Say what you like about Adobe’s Creative Suite icons, they’re nothing if not distinctive. When these plain colored boxes with simple letters first showed on the CS4 beta, we thought that the icons were beta versions too. But these elemental logos were the real thing.

Amazon yesterday announced a couple of changes to Whispernet for the Kindle. Users can now send DOCX (the proprietary Word 2007 form) and RTF files to be read on the device.The company also introduced a new--and potentially more expensive--fee structure for docs sent over the network.

Take this Internet rumor as you would any other Internet rumor. According to an everythingpre.com tipster though, a UPS plane is current enroute to the companies main hub in Louisville, KY with a shipment of Palm Pre cell phones. The tipster claims that they left Hong Kong earlier this morning.
