If my AHL team wins tonight, we go to Game 5 on Friday. If they lose, they got swept in the second round and we all go home. My theory is after watching both my NHL and AHL teams lose this week it’s time for some turnaround, so I’m going to go ahead and assume they’ll win.

Amazon Kindle, the famous e-book reader from Amazon is expected to be available with a bigger screen. Its Kindle DX which will sport a 9.7 inch e-Ink display to make reading e-book more comfortable. More over, Kindle DX support .PDF files, a major upgrade I think. Still no words on release date yet.

Sony gave up on FED displays a few weeks ago, practically burying the technology that was supposed to become a competitor for the OLED standard. But there is also SED, surface-conduction electron-emitter displays, which has been around for a while and mostly flew under the radar since.

My first impression of Windows 7? Feels a lot faster, even than my old XP installation (thanks to the negative press/opinions Vista suffered from, I stayed away). Then again, you can argue that everything’s more responsive because new Windows installs usually are.
