Sony Ericsson loses market share in fall without new phones

Sony Ericsson said that it will have lost market share in the fall due to a poor lineup. Although it shipped 11.2 million phones in the last months of 2010, more than the 10.4 million from the summer, it determined that its share will have dropped to just three percent as the market grew faster.

At a press event on Thursday, T-Mobile USA CEO Philipp Humm confirmed that a Sidekick and a Samsung Galaxy S phone with HSPA+ support will arrive at the carrier soon. The Sidekick news was already covered, and both handsets will carry a 4G suffix.

Dimier is a sub-brand of Bovet, that is just as high-end, and also known as the watch movement maker of the group. Bovet didn't start Dimier, but rather acquired it. I've never seen a Dimer watch in the US - only in Europe - butt hat doesn't mean there aren't a few of them hanging around.
