If you think paying a dollar-and-a-half to see all the trees in a tree museum is still too expensive, you might be a cheap geek.1. A $60 GPS? Here I thought $100 was a super-cheap price for a navigator from a major name, and then a $60 one appears.

All the rumor and the false propaganda on the Palm Pre came to an end this morning when Sprint announced that the Pre official date is on June 6th and will cost $199.99 after a $100 mail-rebate and a 2-year contract.

Panasonic have taken the wraps off of two Full-HD AVCHD camcorders, which it claims are the lightest of their kind.  The Panasonic HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 each have 16x optical zooms, optical image stabilization (OIS) and touchscreen controls, and record to SD/SDHC memory cards.

Palm and Sprint has announced the launch date of the long awaited Palm Pre as the 6th of June. The Palm Pre will be available for $200 on Sprint as of the 6th of June 2009 in the US, with a two year contract.

Sprint have announced that the Palm Pre will go on sale from June 6th, priced at $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.  The Pre will be available from Sprint’s own stores, together with Best Buy, Radio Shack and selected Wal-Mart stores.
