I can say the Mechanical Memory Key as the coolest custom USB drive I have found so far. It was handmade by UK Artist Rob Smith and took Rob about 12 hours to make, as you can see from the photo the case is made from wood and it features parts from 6 different pocket watches.

Happy 25th, Tetris! You’re still the greatest game ever, after Twinkle Star Sprites. Want to get your own Tetris on? The original NES one is solid, but try the less-common unlicensed Tengen Tetris, which has cooperative play in the same well. Good for finding out who your real friends are.

I must have missed these while perusing SkyMall on my flights last week. Hammacher Schlemmer, which has been improving our quality of life for years with things like the solar-powered flashlight and submarine screen door. Their latest triumph: sandals that are also metal detectors.

The second drawback to not having worked in a while is that it completely wore me out. Luckily it went how I thought it would and I’m off until late tonight. Which also means I’ll be able to see most of the hockey game, so after I get a nap in I’ll be a happy camper.

So there’s this leaked Best Buy memo that shows the store that I’ll never visit again selling Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrades for $49.99 and Windows 7 Professional Upgrades for $99.99. Does that mean that Microsoft will sell said Windows 7 upgrades for said prices across the boards?

It's hard not to like the "Global Use" G9 phone, which breaks out of the typical iPhone-ocity with louvered keys on the slide-out deck, a chunky dock, and minimalist, elegant on-screen graphic design. The G9 was designed by Ichiro Iwasaki, the man behind iida, a/k/a Iwasaki Design Studio.
