Panasonic Lets Note F8 is the first laptop equipped with WiMAX support from Japan. Rolled-out recently by the company, Lets Note F8 comes with a 14.1 inch LCD display which deliver 1,440 x 900 pixel resolution. F8 is powered by a 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SP9600 processor, 2GB of RAM and 500GB HDD.

It appears that, come hell or high water, companies are determined to push 3D features. Acer’s the latest, announcing a 15.6-inch notebook due in late October that features software to convert regular 2D movies into 3D, along with movies specifically shot in 3D.

Olympus’ E-P1 Micro Four Thirds camera has shown up in the wild, complete with a a 17mm f2.8 prime lens.  Details regarding the camera are scant - in fact these images are pretty much all we have to go on - but it’s suggested that Olympus will release the E-P1 in July this year.

Acer subsidiary Gateway have been showing off their all-in-one touchscreen PC, and with a multitouch-capable 23-inch Full HD display it’s certainly no slouch.  Unlike touchscreen nettops, the Gateway ZX6800 packs an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and DDR3 memory, and runs Windows 7.

Storage may not be as glossy or as exciting as a new netbook, MID or Smartbook, and as such we didn’t see as much hard-drive coverage from Computex as we did mobile devices; still, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some deuced impressive hardware lurking at the show.

We’re waiting to hear back from our T-Mobile reps, but it appears that T-Mobile USA’s servers were hacked into over the weekend. The group who allegedly hacked into the servers of the wireless carrier is now offering all data to the highest bidder.
