Posting somewhat behind schedule, Sony on Friday put up the Android version of its Reader app on Android Market. The app fits the pattern of other e-reader apps and lets readers buy, download and read ePub or PDF books.

Motorola may make Xoom users get its custom Motoblur interface after the tablet launches. European Android product manager Jonathan Nattrass said in an interview that the tablet would use pure Android 3.0 to start but get a "social aspect" from Motorola in an update later on.
