The Fly Catching LED Clock is the work of British designers Jimmy Loizeau and James Auger, the clock collects insects on a sticky roller which is covered in fly paper, the dead flies are then dropped into a microbial fuel cell.

The first official ‘Doom’ game has landed on the iPhone, Doom Resurrection from Id Software. Doom Resurrection is a new style Doom game which was created exclusively for the iPhone, and it uses art and concepts from the original Doom 3 PC game, check out the video of it in action below.

As awesome robot projects go, this DIY transforming ‘bot takes some beating.  Apparently created for a robotics class by “Kevmag 2000″, the roughly 12-inch high robot can go from a motorized truck to an upright, walking ‘bot in seconds.

Philips has rolled out an LCD display with a built-in infrared presence sensor. Known as the Philips Brilliance, the LCD monitor contains “PowerSensor” technology, which can detect whether you’re sat in front of it or not and adjust brightness accordingly.
