Samsung is planning to launch a new Notebook this summer which is based on Nvidia Ion Platform according to CNET. It is the Samsung N510 which is powered by an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz Processor, a 160GB Hard Drive and a 1GB of RAM.

Lexar announced two new memory cards today that offer up higher capacities for phone and camera users. First up is the 16GB microSDHC card, which features 34nm technology and can hold up to 4,000 songs. The other item revealed today is the 32GB Platinum II SDHC card.

Allow me to admit something shocking right off the bat: I have not watched these ads. I am blogging in ignorance , because it seems pretty clear what’s going on here. As was the case with the Seinfeld ads, it seems that once again, Microsoft is barking too hard, and up the wrong tree at that.

If you have not upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0 yet, the next iPhone OS upgrade should be coming with version 3.1. While there is no change log available on the new version, it should include numerous bug fixes and the mms feature is said to be turned on by default even if you are on AT&T network.

Oh boy. I’ve found a reason to charge my Pre back from the dead. ZodTTD, purveyor of iPhone emulators galore, has struck again by installing psx4all on his Palm Pre. Surprisingly enough, Zod says the Pre’s hardware runs the emulator way better than the iPhone 3GS. But it’s not all peaches and cream.

Sanyo announced that they will be releasing their eneloop lamp very soon called the ENL-Y1S. This lamp actually doubles as a flashlight, making it twice as useful, even during blackouts. The lamp is designed to work as a regular desk lamp but then can be turned sideways to become a flashlight.

Dell has revealed a brand new Inspiron desktop model today called the Inspiron 546. This computer is intended for the budget-friendly crowd while still offering up a generally decent feature set. The new computer features a 2.3GHz AMD Sempron processor, ATI graphics and 2GB of DDR2 RAM.

My insurance guy finally got to me today, only three business days after I was told he would. If I’m really, really lucky, I’ll have enough money left for a value menu lunch after they pay off what I still owe on my car. And I still have to find a “new” one.
