It seems gamers are playing the likes of Guitar Hero and Wii Whatever more hours per week than ever before. Is that the recession’s fault? Maybe! Back in January, gamers were playing video games for an average of nearly 19 hours per week. In 2006, that number was just shy of 15 hours per week.

European company Marset's LEDtube is one of those products I feel guilty for coveting. I covet it because the wall-integrated flip-out LED lamp is just freakin' cool, but feel guilt because I know the thing's not very practical in terms of the amount of materials used and installation.

Break out the credit card, photogs. Pentax is now shipping the K-7 DSLR body for $1300. You can find the HD shooting, all weatherproof, magnesium alloy shooter at the Pentax Store or Amazon. Adorama and B&H don’t seem to have them in stock yet.

Official – O2 to get the Palm Pre in the UK Palm have made an official announcement that the O2 network in the UK will be getting the Palm Pre. As well as O2 having the Pre exclusively in the UK, the network will also be launching the phone in Ireland and Germany.

We’re all quite excited here to find out that O2 and Movistar will get the Palm Pre in GSM form, opening the phone up to unlocking, hacking, and all sorts of molestation. UK, Ireland and Germany will get the phone on O2 and Spain will get it from Movistar. When, you ask? Christmas.

While Nexian has its NX-G900 aka Nexian Berry, a low priced qwerty phone which come in a Blackberry like design, LG is rumored has its own low-end qwerty phone called GW300. Will come in a Nokia E71-like design, LG GW300 unfortunately doesn’t support 3G network, so we can only rely on gprs.
