Recently I got a chance to sneak a peek at Disney's new film, G-Force. No, we aren't doing movie reviews here at Gearlog, but I wanted to see if the 3D graphics were all they're cracked up to be. Truth be told, the movie looked pretty cutting-edge.

So apparently the Nikon D5000 DSLR has a small problem where it doesn’t always turn on. Nikon has just issued a service advisory where the company address the issue. In short, if your D5000 has a certain serial number, you will be able to ship it off to Nikon starting on July 23, 2009.

Intel has continued its attempts to coax the industry into CULV (consumer ultra-low voltage) so-called “ultra-thin” notebooks rather than netbooks, highlighting the shortcomings of the latter devices which, ironically, are generally based on the company’s own Atom N270 processor.
