More Comic Con goodness for you. Microsoft is expected to announce a new “project from a renowned, top tier franchise.” Why, what could that be? Ha, fooled you! No idea what Microsoft has up its sleeves. I’d like to see someone come up with a re-make and/or proper sequel to MDK.

Mercedes has an electric SLS AMG in development that will probably take the title away from Tesla as the must have plug-in sports car. The new SLS AMG recalls past iconic Mercs with a sweeping body and gullwing doors.

As you’ve probably heard by now, Amazon has come under fire recently for the screens on the Kindle 2. Apparently, they’ve been cracking left and right and Amazon was requiring people to pay a $200 replacement fee to have them fixed.

I have a MacBook with one of these really glossy screens and I haven’t had any problems with it, but they have gotten some bad reviews about the displays being too reflective.

The former president of Grokster, Wayne Rosso, just dropped a little hint regarding The Pirate Bay 2.0. Mr. Rosso, writing on The Music Void, said that he’s been contacted by Hans Pandeya, the CEO of the company that’s poised to buy The Pirate Bay for nearly $8 million.

Oh noes! IDC has estimated that Apple sold 1.21 million Macs last year, down 12.4 percent since last year. This puts Apple under Dell, HP, Acer, and Toshiba, in order of popularity. Dell went down 18.9% while Acer popped up 51%.

Of course, I still think of my niece as a child, but reality says she’s a grownup married woman with three kids. Which apparently makes me a great-aunt or some such rot. Whatever. It’s going to be a great couple of days, that much I know! These kids are adorable.
