Garmin-ASUS have announced that the long-awaited nuvifone G60 touchscreen GPS cellphone will go on sale in Taiwan on July 27th, followed by a Singaporean and Malaysian launch in August alongside the Windows Mobile-based nuvifone M20.

Taiwan site PCADV has reportedly said that Gateway is preparing to release a rebranded version of Acer’s Ion-powered nettop, the Acer AspireRevo. Dubbed as the QX2800, this mini-desktop adopts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 dual core processor and a NVIDIA Ion 9400M graphics chipset.

I just returned from helping my Grandma set up a computer for typing out stuff, and incredibly, see this “hunt and peck” keyboard being offered on the ol’ internets. “Why, that would be perfect for Grandma,” I think, since she isn’t a very good touch typist.
