This weekend just turned into an early Christmas for Android hackers everywhere. Google just dropped an early alpha version of the upcoming major Android update, "Donut", into the code repository.

FujiFilm announced the FinePix F70EXR Digital Camera. It is a 10 megapixel camera with a Super CCD EXR imgae sensor and features a sleek and compact design with a 10X long zoom Fujinon lens. Apart from taking photos the FinePix F70EXR can also shoot videos at 30fps in a 640 x 480 pixels resolution.

Hesse confirms Sprint will have an Android device this year, maybe more

Speaking at Brainstorm: Tech, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse explicitly stated that Sprint would carry at least one Android device by the end of the year. As to why Sprint has taken this long to pick up an Android device, he said that it wasn’t quite ready for prime time.

Throw a stone and you’ll find Windows 7 OEM online to download. Not that you’d do such a thing, of course.

Friends, you cannot go anywhere on the Internet without running into the OEM version of Windows 7. This is the same version of the operating system that’ll be loaded onto your Dells, your HPs, your Lenovos, etc. I mention this why?

You may have heard about Intel coming out with new SSDs. This X25-M upgrade represents the same capacities (80GB and 160GB) at much lower prices ($225 from $595 and $440 from $945 respectively), not to mention better reading speeds (”a 25 percent reduction in read latency”).

OCZ’s new Colossus SSD drive was debuted at Computex last month. Available in capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB, all of the drives come in a 3.5-inch enclosure that sports two RAIDed SSD drives mounted to a single PCB. Unfortunately, there is no info on the release date so far.
