Ooh la la. I guess I know what I’m saving up for later this year. While we’ve known about a special edition Eminem and Jay-Z DJ Hero for some time, it wasn’t until this morning that we finally got to see what it would actually look.

Logitech announced updates to their entire webcam line today, revealing seven brand new models, the best of which, the Webcam Pro 9000, features HD capture at 720p with supporting applications. This webcam also has a 2-megapixel sensor, light compensation and Carl Zeiss lenses.

Shuttle's XS29 barebone PC has a 1.6GHz processor, up to 4GB of RAM, gigabit ethernet, DVI, VGA and standard audio jacks, 6 USB ports and Via Chrome9 HC3 video. It's a Via Nano version of the X27, an otherwise identical machine equipped with an Intel chipset and Atom CPU.

Buckle up. HP is apparently prepping its own 11.6-inch netbook (not pictured above) for release later this year. There’s literally no information about it other than ODM giant Quanta will be producing the thing, so I’ll not fluff this piece too much with superfluous text.

Joby announced their Gorillamobile tripod today, which acts a shift of emphases on cameras with their GorillaPod to mobile devices like the iPhone or Flip camera. What’s cool about this tripod is that it can be used on just about any surface because of its ball joint legs.

Is Apple losing the plot? I ask this because, having just read this bollocks (Apple wants to make jailbreaking illegal because it supposedly threatens our nation's cellphone tower infrastructure, and thereby threatens our national security), I've read nothing but well-reasoned, anti-Apple invective.
