Good news for Zune fans. CNET spent a little time with the upcoming Zune HD and came away mighty impressed. Big points were awarded for the 3.3-inch screen, 720p video playback, audio quality, music playback features, and — gasp! — a great web browser?

Truth be told, I actually like the looks of this old-timey speaker very much. And it’d go perfectly with my newfangled “digital” music collection. It’s only $29, too, which may or may not mean that the actual sound quality is poor to quite poor.

I have an ancient — and gigantic — Umax scanner I’ve been hanging onto for what feels like eternity for the two or three times every year when I need to scan something. My scanner is big, and bulky, and has a power brick about the size of Idaho.

Toilet Speaker – Why? I have no idea why anybody would want to buy speakers built to look like miniature toilets, but regardless of what I think, someone has their reasons and has actually made some. They are built by someone over in China and can crank out 2 plops I mean watts of sound.
