Yamaha Japan released the set of speakers, the NS-700 Series, with four new models. Available at the beginning of September, and here is the complete list: - The NS-C700 (BP) Speakers, a 2 way central speaker that comes with 2 x 13cm cone woofers, as well as 3cm tweeter.

Wired's Dylan Tweney got to play with Microsoft's inexorably excellent Zune HD. It's compact, lightweight, good-looking and has a very slick interface. Microsoft's newest media player has a bright, crisp OLED display that the dark lighting of the nightclub showed off to very good effect.

The Nintendo DSi launched in Japan on November 1st, 2008 and the first 170,000 were sold out within two days. 435,000 were sold during the first week here in the States, and UK gamers snatched up 92,000 units during the first weekend.
