Sony’s upcoming S-Series Walkman has leaked, prematurely listed at French retailer materiel.net.  Two versions of the PMP are detailed, the 8GB Sony NWZ-S544 and the 16GB NWZ-S545, each with a 16:9 aspect QVGA 2.4-inch LCD display and integrated stereo speakers.

Rogers Canada has let the proverbial ninja out of the dojo by posting a “comparison chat” of multiple iPhone models, including the elusive 8GB 3GS. Why are they selling the 8GB? Who knows. Maybe it’s a little bit cheaper and maybe Apple just had extra 8GB chips.

If only we’d heard of this earlier! Our own Brian Chen killed his iPhone by carelessly tossing a glass of water at it and confounded the mistake by weeping cry-baby tears all over the thing. If he’d been using this inflatable, waterproof iPhone case, though, he’d still have his trusty 3G.

Recently eMachines unveiled their new Atom-powered all-in-one nettop dubbed the eMachines EZ1601-01. It is an 18.5-inch nettop with a 1366×768 resolution display and is powered by an Intel Atom N270 Processor, 160GB SATA Hard Drive, Intel GMA950 integrated graphics card and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM.

For Toshiba, the DVD format war is finally over.In a statement, the Japanese electronics giant said it had applied for membership in the Blu-ray Disc Association, and said that it planned to ship Blu-ray products throughout the remainder of 2009.

The Gigabyte netbook tablet has been upgraded from the previous T1028M model to the T1028X model. It features a new processor which has been upgraded to an Intel Atom N280 1.66Ghz CPU and has a faster FSB. The screen also has received an upgrade and is now at a HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
