Strum out a few chords of Stairway, friends, because the guy who invented the electric guitar, Les Paul, is dead. He died of complications from pneumonia in White Plains, NY. Paul also invented multitrack recording, the process of playing and recording multiple tracks at once.

A sub $100 priced netbook is offered by Lanyu, maker from China. Called eBook LY-EB01, the netbook from Lanyu comes with a 7 inch display which has 800 x 480 pixel resolution. This ARM based netbook is powered by a 266MHz paltry AK7802Q216 processor, 128MB RAM and running WinCE 5.0 OS.

A federal judge has ordered Microsoft to stop selling Microsoft Word 2003 & 2007 versions in 60 days, because it was ruled that they [Microsoft] infringed Canadian company i4i’s patents. Of course, Microsoft says it will appeal.
