PS3 sales surge 999% in UK, top Wii thanks to slim model

Sony achieved a rare feat in the past week with the PS3 clearly outselling every other console in the UK, data from ChartTrack shows. In what's also the first week the slim PS3 has been available, the smaller and less expensive model helped PS3 sales jump 999 percent.

These new 46- and 52-inch Sony sets are loaded: 240Hz, edge-mounted LED backlighting, wireless media receiver, and they are deliciously thin. Right now they are only announced in Japan, but I’ll bet good money that Sony will announce and price the US-spec’d models this week at CEDIA.

The Samsung C6625v is a Windows Mobile 6.1 device that has a full QWERTY keyboard on the front of the device and is similar in looks to a Blackberry. The phone is available through Vodafone in the UK. We managed to get our hands on a Samsung C6625v for review and to test how it performs.
