HTC Leo caught in wild

The first in-the-wild shots of the upcoming HTC Leo uber-smartphone have emerged, and it’s shaping up to be a monster.  Dwarfing both an HTC Touch Pro2 and a Touch HD, the Leo packs a vast 4.3-inch touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.5 and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU.

Many years ago (like 1992ish), I subscribed to some sort of Dinosaur magazine. It had all sorts of dinosaur facts and stories that any young child with an interest in science and/or biology. Every issue (it was a monthly publication) came with a single piece of a rather large dinosaur puzzle.

Lawn mowers have gone eco-conscious a while back. The need is much more than what has been met, thus each maker’s endeavor in the direction is worth commending. Husqvarna has been a green hooded entrant for long; we’ve seen it play with different green gigs for our lawns.

Apple today quietly reshuffled the prices of the Apple TV for the first time since the 160GB model was added in May 2007. The company has reduced the price of the 160GB model to $229 (from $329) and has dropped the original 40GB model (once $229) entirely.

Details of the new Nokia Erdos have leaked. The Erdos features a polished aluminium casing along with a mirrored 2.4 inch OLED QVGA screen. The camera has 5 megapixels, has auto-focus and uses Carl Zeiss optics for the lens. To light up shots the Erdos also features a dual LED flash.

Nokia have hinted that there will be more Nokia Booklet 3G’s on the way and have said it’s not the only one of it’s kind. The comments came from Nokia Conversations where users were providing feedback and one of the Nokia Booklet team was seen to say… ‘Great feedback here!

I have tried to watch YouTube videos and other content on my iPhone while on the go before. The big problem is typically finding a comfortable way to prop the iPhone so I can watch it without getting neck pain.

Viliv's S7, at $630 and up, isn't cheap by netbook standards. But at 1.8 pounds and with a swiveling touchscreen and 3G internet, its a striking one. The internals are similar to other smaller UMPC-style netbooks (lower-power 1.33GHz Atom, SSD, etc.) and it's available from Dynamism.

Remember Apple TV? It’s still around, there’s just no 40GB version any more. Not that 40GB would hold too much content nowadays anyway, especially with all the HD video available on iTunes and elsewhere.

The Fingertip Micro cam is a small camera that is capable of capturing images at 640 x 480 pixels. The camera can capture video on to microSD cards with a capacity of up to 8GB in size. The unit is powered by a rechargeable battery that can be charged via USB cable.
