Microsoft has launched a new educational discount for Windows 7, aimed at college and university students. Eligible buyers can now order a copy of either Home Premium or Professional for just $30; the discount runs until January 3rd at 12AM CST.

What do we have here? A Target ad similar to the Toys R Us ad that says the Wii is getting a $50 price drop? Kotaku notes that this ad is suppose to circulate the week of September 27, which is the same time as the Toys R Us one.

Magellan gave its navigation units a new crowning model today in the RoadMate 1700. The GPS mapping device is one of the largest in the US and has a 7-inch, 800x480 display that's both easier to read from a distance and which provides more information onscreen.

T-Mobile’s original Android phone, the G1, is now selling for $130 (with a two-year contract) direct from T-Mobile’s web site. That’s a $20 price reduction, although savvy bargain shoppers know that you can find the G1 from plenty of reputable places for around $100.

A new MP3 player is now available called the MP3 Micro Sport. It seems to have no controls except for just 1 button and due to the small size of the device, it sits in your ear like a small bluetooth headset. We are not entirely sure how the single button operation works.
