If there’s one thing capitalism has taught us, it’s that competition is usually good for prices.  Newegg have just joined Dynamism in offering the Viliv X70 UMPC, the 7-inch Korean touchscreen tablet, which you’d expect to mean prices were pushed down.

Seagate today updated the Barracuda line to include the industry's first drive to use an 6Gbps SATA interface. The 2TB Barracuda XT has twice as much theoretical bandwidth as existing SATA II drives and gives the disk up to 600MBps in burst transfers.

Asus are launching a new Eee PC named the 1001HA. The 1001HA comes with either Linux or Windows XP installed or you have the option of no operating system installed. It has the usual Intel Arom N270 processor inside as well as 1GB of Ram and a 160GB hard disk.

Here we are again with another week in review, let’s jump right in. A new 160GB Apple TV has popped up with better integration with iTunes 9. This is a good thing, I have one season of Heroes in HD on my 40GB unit and the thing is almost full.
