Eminem demands money from Apple, says it sold his songs without permission

Eminem has a problem with Apple, and it has nothing to do with the company railroading Google with respect to the FCC. Eminem claims Apple sold 93 of his songs on the iTunes Store without the proper distribution rights, and so he wants a couple of dollars he feels he is owed.

So yeah, the PS3 motion controller will be available this Springtime, and the first “big” games to make use of it will be Resident Evil 5 and LittleBigPlanet. High Velocity Bowling will also use the controller, and it sounds absolutely thrilling.

Sega’s third-person action game Bayonetta was playable today at the first day of the Tokyo Game Show, both on Xbox360 and PS3. The game looked fine on both consoles and features a bespectacled female (”Bayonetta”) as the main character.

Time Warner today became one of the last major US cable providers to offer some form of DOCSIS 3.0-based Internet service. The initial deployment gives customers 50Mbps downloads and 5Mbps uploads for the same $100 monthly rate as similar offerings from Comcast and others.

That was quick. NASA just released some data last week recorded by the LRO that indicated water might be present and suddenly an Indian probe actually found some. India’s first Moon probe , Chandrayaan-1, is equipped with sensors to detect the electromagnetic signature of water.

Palm Pre coming to UK, Ireland, and Germany

The Palm Pre is coming to Germany on October 13 and will pop up on October 16 in UK and Ireland. The UK model will cost 96.89 pounds for the 75 and 600 minute plans and will be free for the 44 and 73 pound plans (1,200 and 3,000 consecutively). Other countries should be just about the same.

Here’s a little more info on the Archos 9 Tablet. Apparently it’ll be available here in the US on October 22nd, the same day Windows 7 is available. The price tag is pretty aggressive at $499, too.

This awful figurine from the SAW movies is actually a pretty cool 30 second sample/playback module that's easy to hack. You can buy them here for $2 a pop at allelectronics.com. It's almost worth the $2 just for the AAA batteries that come with it.
