I would bet good money that there will be few this little tidbit will affect, but NVIDIA has apparently disabled support for PhysX processing on its GPUs when an ATI GPU is present. This would only affect users who have an NVIDIA card installed for PhysX and an ATI card for graphics.

JVC has introduced its latest digital camcorder first in Japan, the PICSIO GC-FM1. The company's first attempt at a pocket camera like the Flip, it measures just 5.8 by 2 by inches in size but packs an 8-megapixel still photo sensor that records video at 2.03 megapixels.

Here's a little Ikea-hack from Bay-Area-based Daylight Design that involves the Benjamin stool and a saw. A simple line cut down the middle provides the means to insert Fome-Cor boards for presentations or brainstorming sessions without rendering the stools unusuable.

Sony will bring 250GB versions of its new slim PlayStation 3 gaming console to the UK, bundled with various video games and Blu-ray movies, Pocket-lint reported on Friday. Priced at the equivalent of $455, there will be one bundle that includes FIFA 10 and another one with Need for Speed: Shift.

Researchers at MIT are currently working on a retinal implant that can bypass damaged cells and send visual input to the brain to help restore vision. Those who use the implant will need to wear a pair of glasses which have a built in camera embedded in them.
