Another device jumps on board the Android bandwagon. This time it’s Archos whose latest Internet tablet, the Archos 5 runs the Google OS. The tablet hasn’t been released yet, but it’s already available for pre-order at Amazon.

Here is a custom CoolIT PC case mod that was designed by 19-year-old Dominic Heise. The computer case looks like a frosty block of snow and ice. The case features a heavy duty Boreas liquid cooling rig with 15 cooling fans in the back of the case.

There’s no denying the amount of originality we see in every PC casemod we feature here, done by the modders across the world, all are creatively commissioned to be different from the other. Until now still, I don’t remember having seen a casemod which has been tinkered so humanely from within.

Amazon has started selling the Archos 5 Internet Tablet. In case you didn’t know, the gadget is a 4.3-inch (800 x 480) touchscreen PMP with WiFi, 3.5G connectivity and GPS. The cool part of the Archos 5 is that it supports HDTV out via an HDMI output.

No idea if this specific product works, but the idea has been around for a long time in the form of other similar products that use certain frequencies to repel insects and other bugs. The twist with this one is that it is in the form of a USB stick. It is specifically meant to repel mosquitoes.
