Apple has quietly begun hiring cellular experts where LTE is now a major consideration. The posting for an iOS cellular protocol software engineer requires experience in working with at least one cellular protocol, including basic specs such as GSM but also LTE.

T-Mobile is set to launch Dell’s newest Android Tablet ‘Streak 7′ on their network. The device will become available from February 2nd for $199.99 with a 2-year T-Mobile contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate or for $450 contract-free.

Extra sleuthing in tracking down the mystery Windows Phone 7 data use has pinned at least some of the responsibility on Yahoo e-mail code. Using a script to expose code, Rafael Rivera found that Yahoo's IMAP mail servers send a flood of code every time a Windows Phone 7 device tries to get e-mail.
