Fujitsu in Japan is showing off a range of new desktop and notebook PCs, including the Deskpower F/ER-series all-in-one desktop and MT Series and Biblo NF/ERs notebooks. The F-series offer a model with a 23-inch, 1920x1080 or 20-inch, 1600x900 multi-touch display.

Intel sees record sales spike thanks to notebooks

Intel today says it recorded one of the best fiscal quarters in its history and owed it almost exclusively to notebooks. The chip maker generated $9.4 billion in revenue during the summer, an eight percent drop from a year earlier but a sharp 17.5 percent jump from this spring.

Nintendo's next-generation DS may be powerful enough to rival the current iPod touch in terms of power if a purported source is accurate. Contacts at BSN say NVIDIA has won a contract with Nintendo to use a variant of the Tegra chipset in a future handheld.
