Walk up to a bunch of technology fans and ask them to name the top makers of CPUs on the computer market and most will say Intel and AMD. These two firms offer multiple core CPUs for the consumer and enterprise markets with current offerings heading towards six-cores per CPU.

Netflix this morning broke its once-exclusive Xbox 360 deal with Microsoft by offering Netflix for PlayStation 3. The link will let any US-based PS3 owner with a Netflix subscription stream movies and TV shows online; they can also add movies to the queue and rate titles.

The inclusion of both Wi-Fi and a microphone on the DSI made it a favorite for rumors about phone functionality — and while we’ve seen voice chat in some games, there hasn’t been an official channel for that that I know of.
