I like technology, but one thing that I have never really understood is wanting to geotag photos that I take. I’m not sure I really need to know the exact location where the photo was shot, I am pretty sure I can recall where I was from the image.

The Koike Laboratory from the University of Electro Communications in Tokyo was responsible for one of the most spectacular booths at the Digital Contents Expo that ended in Tokyo yesterday. They developed an “augmented tabletop video game with pinching gesture recognition”.
