As predicted earlier today, Apple have pushed out their latest firmware for the Apple TV.  Version 3.0 brings with it a newly redesigned GUI, along with compatibility with iTunes Extras and iTunes LP as introduced in iTunes 9.

As scheduled, Lenovo announcing another version of its Lenovo Ideapad S12 laptop which runs on Windows 7 OS and packs NVIDIA Ion graphics onboard to make it capable to play 1080p video. There’s a version which packs a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HDD and Ion graphics on board.

ASUS has plans to introduce e-book readers that have 3G, Wi-Fi and WiMAX mobile data network access technologies to market this year. CENS on Wednesday reported that the devices will sport expected 9-inch screens but that they will ship to Europe and North America at about the same time.

Great news, everyone. Nintendo will release the large-screened DSi in America early next year. It’s been rebadged as the DSi XL instead of the DSi LL. There’s still no word on the price or exact release date, but at least we know it’s coming. Win.
